Chee Yeoh, is a registered acupuncturist and herbalist after the completion of a 4-year Bachelor of Health Science (Chinese Medicine) at Southern School of Natural Therapies in Melbourne, Australia.

She enjoys providing a general Chinese medicine practice, and has a special interest in the prevention of 21st century chronic diseases brought about by our modern-day lifestyle, diet and/or a genetic pre-disposition, and helping patients restore their vitality.  This interest arose from having lost a parent to the complications of diabetes, which she believes could have been prevented with her Chinese medicine knowledge now.  Seeing the physical and emotional struggle her parent experienced, and experiencing firsthand the stress and impact on the family and loved ones during this period drives her desire to help her patients regain wellness.

Having worked in the corporate environment previously, Chee understands the demands and struggles faced in balancing one’s health against these demands.  She strives to work with you, the patient, to overcome challenges in the journey to regain a healthy balance and a true sense of vitality.  In effect, helping patients to become the drivers of their health and well being.

In addition to her Chinese medicine practice, Chee is also a certified yoga teacher.  This modality ties in beautifully with her Chinese medicine practice as yoga helps to cultivate an awareness of both mind and body, which will facilitate the journey towards restoration of health and vitality.

Chee is a fully accredited member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA), and can provide health insurance rebates for most health funds.

Chee incorporates the Nagano Style Acupuncture in her acupuncture practice.  This is a gentle acupuncture style that utilises a palpatory methodology, and addresses the Stomach Qi to ensure that the body has the ability to access sufficient resources to enable healing.  For more information on the Nagano Style Acupuncture and to locate a practitioner of this style that is near you or for your family and friends, please click here.
